Do not shun 'so-called victim', says brother of Listowel sex attacker
The brother of a man convicted of sexual assault in Listowel in Co Kerry says if his brother's "so-called victim" is being shunned, it is wrong.
Tim Foley says if people want to support his family, they should do it in other ways.
The case provoked controversy when a group of people queued to shake the hand of his brother, 35-year-old Danny Foley, of Meen in Listowel, ahead of a sentencing hearing in court on Wednesday.
His victim claims she has been judged in the area for pursuing the case.
