Govt to pressure semi-State workers into pay cuts

More than 42,000 workers at commercial State and semi-State companies are expected to come under Government pressure to agree to pay cuts.

The ESB, VHI and Bord Gáis are among 23 semi-State companies exempt from last Wednesday's public sector cuts because they generate their own revenues.
