Gas prices set to fall again in new year

Gas prices are to fall again early next year bringing average bills down about a third in the last year.

The Commission for Energy Regulation is to sign off on the 8% cut today after a drop in wholesale costs.

The reduced rate will come into effect on February 1 next year.
