The Court of Criminal appeal has fixed a date in March of next year for the hearing of Clare woman Sharon Collins' appeal against her conviction for soliciting an Egyptian poker dealer to kill her partner and his two sons.

Today at the CCA, Mr Justice Adrian Hardiman fixed March 11, 2010, as the date for the hearing of their appeal against their convictions. On the same date the three-judge court will also consider an appeal brought by her co-accused Essam Eid (aged 54), an Egyptian national and Las Vegas poker dealer against his conviction.
