A pedestrian has been killed in Dublin.

A pedestrian has been killed in Dublin.

The 24-year-old man was knocked down by a car at Leonards Corner on Clanbrassil Street in the city centre just before half past four this morning.

He is the second pedestrian to die on the roads this weekend after a 37-year-old woman died yesterday morning from injuries she sustained in an incident in Leenane, Co Galway on Friday night.
