Wind delays flights at Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport has been affected by the winds with gusts of up to 50 knots reported on the main runway earlier today.

Ten planes were diverted from the city, with air traffic controllers sending flights on to Shannon Airport and Manchester.

The Dublin Airport Authority says the delays were having a knock-on effect but urged all passengers to arrive as normal.
