Five injured in road accident

Five people have been hospitalised after two cars were in collision in Co Tipperary.

A woman driving one of the cars is in a critical condition at the Midwestern Hospital in Limerick

Four occupants of the other car were not seriously injured in the accident, which happened on the N7 Dublin to Limerick Road just outside Nenagh at Five Alley.

Diversions are in place on the road, but traffic is very slow both directions on the N7.
