Flood waters starting to fall in the West

Flood waters in the worst affected parts of Counties Galway and Clare are beginning to slowly recede.

More than 200 households have been evacuated in Ballinasloe while more than 100 people are being housed in temporary accommodation in Ennis.

Met Eireann is warning of further heavy rain and an increased risk of flooding from high tides along the West coast over the coming days.
