Three arrested in connection with death of Cork farmer

Three men have been arrested in Co. Cork in connection with the death of a 65-year-old farmer last year.

John Twomey died after he suffered a heart attack when he was assaulted during a land dispute on August 19, 2008.

This evening gardaí in Macroom arrested one man in his 50s and two men in their 20s.

They are due to appear before Macroom District Court tomorrow.
