Three quizzed in connection with Limerick teen's death

Two men and a woman were being questioned by detectives today over the murder of a teenager found close to his parent’s old home.

Nineteen people have been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of 19-year-old Jeffrey Hannon in November 2007.

His badly-beaten body was found by a passer-by on a green area, just yards from his parents' former house in O’Malley Park, Limerick.

He had suffered massive head injuries.

The two men, aged 21 and 22, and the 21-year-old woman were being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act in Henry Street and Roxboro Road garda stations.
