Extradition request adjourned in officer-shooting case
An extradition request for a man wanted in connection with the shooting dead of a British Army recruitment officer in Derby more than 17 years ago has been further adjourned to early December.
The British authorities are seeking the surrender of Declan Derek Patrick Duffy (aged 35), a father of two, originally from Armagh but with an address at Hanover St West, Dublin. He is in custody in relation to other matters and is due to be released from prison in July 2011.
