Mother settles own case after child awarded €4.5m

The mother of a six-year-old child awarded €4.5m due to the severe injuries she suffered arising out of the circumstances of her birth has settled her own personal injuries action against the HSE.

Clodagh Brett (aged 34) Kilnockin Road, Fethard, Co Tipperary has brought a High Court action for damages and loss she suffered against the HSE arising out of the circumstances of the birth of her eldest child Keri at St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny on October 20, 2003.
