Fear of cuts causing anxiety among older people
A pressure group representing older people says many over-65s have serious concerns about the future of the state pension.
The Older and Bolder alliance says there is a deep sense of worry that support services for older people will be cut in this December's budget.
It says many older people felt they could rely on their free travel entitlements and their pension payments.
However, the group says recent budgetary decisions and the recommendations of the McCarthy report have caused anxiety among these people.
