Man in stable condition after Limerick stabbing

A man in his 20s is in a stable condition in hospital following a stabbing in Limerick city in the early hours of this morning.

A man in his 20s is in a stable condition in hospital following a stabbing in Limerick city in the early hours of this morning.

The victim received a number of stab wounds during a row with another man at Steamboat Quay at around 2am.

A teenager has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at Henry Street garda station for questioning.

He can be detained for up to 24 hours.
