Lenihan under pressure to reform TDs' expenses

The Minister for Finance is coming under pressure to speed up the reform of TDs' expenses following the news that the auditor charged with overhauling the system resigned because he was being ignored.

In his letter of resignation, Tom O'Higgins says he had no option but to step down because of the refusal of politicians to reform the regime.
