Cowen ‘in favour of expenses transparency’

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has reiterated that he is fully in favour of transparency in the way government ministers and TDs deal with their expenses.

Mr Cowen was responding to criticism from Labour Party leader Eamon Gilmore, who accused the Government of failing to address the controversy surrounding political expenses.
