Labour issues warning shot to Government

The Government was given a warning that now that the Lisbon Treaty referendum campaign is over, the Labour Party will redouble efforts to secure a change of government.

The Government was given a warning that now that the Lisbon Treaty referendum campaign is over, the Labour Party will redouble efforts to secure a change of government.

The party's campaign director Joe Costello said the country voted 'Yes' to Lisbon not because of Fianna Fáil, but in spite of them.

He said over the coming weeks Labour would redouble their efforts to bring about a change in government.
