Motorcyclist killed in traffic accident

A young motorcyclist has died after crashing into a car.

The accident happened at around 4.55pm yesterday at Tree Park Road, Tallaght, south Dublin.

Gardaí said the vehicle was stationary when the 19-year-old biker crashed into it.

The scene was examined by crash investigators and the motorcyclist’s body was taken to Tallaght General Hospital.

Witnesses are being asked to contact gardaí.
