Grafton Street to host street meeting on Lisbon

The People Before Profit Alliance is to hold a street meeting on the Lisbon Treaty in Grafton Street at 12 noon today.

Speakers will include Councillors Richard Boyd Barrett, Joan Collins and Brid Smith.

The meeting will focus on the role of EU policies in causing the current recession.

People Before Profit contends the policies of the EU and the Irish Government have got us into the recession and the policies of the EU will not get us out of it.
