Survey: 55% don’t use contraception for first-time sex
The results of a new survey have found that 55% of Irish people do not use contraception when having sex for the first time.
Today is World Contraception Day which specifically targets those between 18 and 25 years and aims to raise awareness of contraception and improve the level of education.
The theme of this year's campaign is "Your Life, Your Voice; Talk Contraception."
Alison Begas from the Dublin Well Woman Centre said we need to make more educated choices in relation to reproductive and sexual health.
