€1.5m seizure of Dublin-bound cigarettes in Spain

A shipment of contraband cigarettes worth €1.5m, which was believed to be headed for Ireland, has been seized in Spain.

Nine hundred cases of cigarettes were found hidden in a container which arrived at the Basque port of Bilbao from south-east Asia.
