Ahern not ruling out mandatory burglary sentences

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has said he will not rule out the possibility of introducing mandatory sentencing for burglary.

Mr Ahern was responding to questions this morning about the death of pensioner Paddy Barry following a burglary at his home in Waterford last week.
