DUP MPs to seek meeting with Gaddafi
Two DUP MPs say they plan to travel to Libya in an effort to meet Colonel Muammar Gaddafi as part of their campaign to secure compensation for IRA victims.
Jeffrey Donaldson and Nigel Dodds have been leading the campaign and held talks with officials at the Libyan Embassy in London yesterday.
They want Libya to compensate IRA victims because the north African country supplied large quantities of arms and explosives to the republican movement during the Troubles.
The pair say yesterday's meeting was positive and they now plan to travel to Tripoli in the hope of meeting Colonel Gaddafi.
