HSE ordered to pay €8,500 to cancer patient

The Health Service Executive has been ordered to refund more than €8,500 to a cancer patient who was treated abroad.

The woman, who is from another EU country, was working in Dublin when she was diagnosed with cancer, but was advised to seek treatment in her home country, where she has the support of her family.
