Two DUP MPs are meeting Libyan diplomats in London today as part of a campaign for compensation for victims of IRA violence.

Libya supplied large quantities of arms and explosives to the IRA during the Troubles.

The DUP has stepped up a campaign to get compensation from the north African country following the publicity surrounding the release of the Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi last month.

Jeffrey Donaldson and Nigel Dodds will be pushing that case when they meet diplomats at the Libyan Embassy in London today.

Libya has already indicated that it will resist any compensation claims.
