Man dies in hospital after 'domestic incident'

A 33-year-old man has died in hospital after an incident in The Hamptons, Santry Cross, Ballymun at around 7am.

It is understood he may have suffered injuries following a fall in what has been described as a domestic incident.

A 30-year-old woman was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment although it is believed her injuries are not life-threatening.

The scene at the Hamptons has been preserved for a technical examination and the state pathologist’s office has been notified.

No arrests have been made.
