Post mortem due on body found in recycling plant
A post mortem examination will be carried out this morning on the body of a man found at a waste recycling facility in Co Kerry yesterday.
The discovery was made at the Kilmorna site in Listowel by workers at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.
It is understood the remains were found in a waste bin which was emptied into a refuse truck before being brought to the recycling plant.
It is believed the man may have been from the Waterford area and that he may have been visiting Listowel for the annual Harvest Festival race meeting.
Gardaí are keeping an open mind on the death and are investigating a number of theories.
