Post mortem to be carried out on Waterford body
A post mortem is expected to be carried out today on the body of a 30-year-old woman who died at a house in Waterford city overnight.
Gardaí discovered the body of the mother of three after being called to a house in Richardstown Meadows in Kilcohan in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood she suffered serious head injuries, and a post mortem examination will be carried out later today.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Waterford Garda Station under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act.
A technical examination of the house has been carried out by Garda forensic experts.
