O'Donoghue 'embarrassed' by expenses

Embattled Ceann Comhairle John O’Donoghue today apologised and admitted he was embarrassed by lavish expenses he ran up while a minister.

In a statement to the Dáil, the Fianna Fáil TD again claimed he was unaware of the costs to the taxpayer for luxuries like a chauffeur drive between terminals in an airport.
