Crash causes traffic delays in Dublin city centre

Motorists are being warned to expect delays in Dublin city centre for much of today following a serious crash on the south quays this morning.

The road at the junction of O'Connell Bridge and Aston Quay is closed as a result of the crash.

The 'bus gate' on College Green has been opened to all traffic in an effort to alleviate the disruption, but motorists are being advised to completely avoid the area if possible.
