26 events confirmed for new convention centre

The operators of the new National Convention Centre in Dublin say 26 events are already confirmed for the venue.

The €380m centre is still being constructed on the north quays and is due to open next year.

The operators say the events confirmed so far will generate €65.8m for the economy.

The centre is configured to accommodate conferences of up to 8,000 delegates in 22 purpose-built meeting rooms.
