Gardaí to interview latest tiger kidnapping victims
Detectives are today to interview the bank official and her husband who were at the centre of yesterday's tiger kidnapping in Dublin.
The woman was abducted by a six-man gang while returning home to Lusk in North County Dublin at about 9am yesterday.
She was instructed to go the branch to withdraw €130,000.
The bank official was then ordered to leave the cash in her gold-coloured car at a pre-agreed time and drop-off point on Greenwood Avenue, Coolock.
Her husband in the intervening period was taken from their home, driven to Carraigmore Estate in Tallaght and held captive in a white van.
He later managed to free himself.
Both victims were traumatised by the incident but were otherwise unhurt.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of Dun Emer estate in Lusk, Coolock Village or Carraigmore estate in Citywest yesterday and noticed anything suspicious to contact them.
