Kilkenny printing firm to shed 46 jobs

Almost 50 workers are set to lose their jobs in Kilkenny following a decision to close down a local printing operation.

Johnston Press is shutting the plant that prints the Kilkenny People newspaper with the loss of 42 full-time and four part-time positions.

The operation will be closed down at the end of October.
