Suspicious Navan device declared a hoax

A suspicious device found attached to a vehicle in Co Meath this morning has been declared a hoax.

Army bomb disposal experts were called to the scene on Commons Road in Navan just after 9am.

The area was evacuated while the device was examined, but it was subsequently found to contain no explosives.
