EU launches online diary for Ireland
A new website which gives details of all EU-related events happening in Ireland goes online today.
www.eurodiary.ie will provide details of all events with an EU-theme taking place in any part of Ireland within a week to two-week period.
The website, which is being supported by the European Commission Representation office in Dublin, is available to all organisations, associations and individuals hosting relevant events.
EU Commission Press Officer Ruth Deasy said: "There are numerous events happening now with an EU theme, most notably in relation to the Lisbon Treaty referendum and it is difficult for organisers and members of the public to find out what is happening and when.
"This website will provide a one-stop-shop for all events and will try to be as comprehensive as possible."
The website lists the events in order by date, by region and also has a search facility.
Organisations wishing to have their events listed on the website should e-mail details to events@eurodiary.ie
