Friel and Gate win Edinburgh award

Playwright Brian Friel and Dublin’s Gate Theatre were today celebrating winning a prestigious critics award at the Edinburgh International Festival.

The Gate Friel Season was commended with an Herald Angel Award for the superb staging of three works.
