Body found off Clare coast confirmed as missing Kerryman

Gardaí have confirmed that the body found off the Clare coast in recent days is that of a missing Kerry man.

The man, 25-year-old Colm Ó Murchú or Colm Murphy from Tralee, was last seen on July 22.

An extensive land and sea search in the Slea Head area was launched but failed to locate the missing man.

His body was recovered off the coast near Doolin late on Sunday by local coastguard members.
