The Irish Nurses Organisation is warning that government cutbacks could lead to a severe reduction in services at Letterkenny General Hospital in Co Donegal.

The Irish Nurses Organisation is warning that government cutbacks could lead to a severe reduction in services at Letterkenny General Hospital in Co Donegal.

The union says the HSE's cost-cutting plans will see 33 nurses leaving the hospital when their contracts expire.

It says the hospital is currently only meeting its minimum service requirements and will not be able to cope with the loss of so many nurses.
