Govt announce investigation into electricians' dispute

The Tánaiste Mary Coughlan has announced that an investigation will be held into the recent dispute between electrical unions and contractors.

Mr Finbar Flood has been appointed to undertake the investigation, and to report to Ms Coughlan as a matter of urgency.

Thousands of electricians downed tools at building sites across the country as a result of the dispute.
