Religious orders criticised for delay in financial reports

Fine Gael has hit out at the religious orders investigated by the Ryan Report on child abuse for not disclosing their financial details.

The 18 congregations agreed to give the Government full details of their finances by mid-July in order for them to make meaningful contributions to a redress fund for victims.
