Four people have been hospitalised following a collision between a truck and a car in Limerick this morning.

Four people have been hospitalised following a collision between a truck and a car in Limerick this morning.

The driver of the car, believed to be a man in his 30s, is understood to be in a serious condition.

He had to be cut from his car along with a teenage girl and two other children.

The crash happened on the Condell Road, which is now closed from Shannon Bridge to the Clonmacken Roundabout.

Motorists are being urged to use alternative routes.
