Remains of Polish boy found on west Cork shoreline

The remains of a Polish boy who disappeared while fishing with his father in west Cork more than a week ago have been recovered on the shoreline.

Matthias Latek's body was found on rocks close to where he and his father went fishing on Cod's Head on Sunday, July 12.

His father's remains were discovered by rescuers last week.

The 13-year-old had been on holiday in Ireland with his father, who worked in a bakery in Kenmare.
