Woman killed in two-car crash in Dublin

A woman in her 30s has been killed in a crash in North Dublin.

The two-car collision happened on the Old North Road between the Texaco garage and the White Horse Pub at about 12.40pm.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man who was also injured is being treated at Blanchardstown Hospital, while a child has been brought to Temple Street suffering from shock.

It comes after five people lost their lives on the roads over the weekend.
