Woman on horseback hit by truck
A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Co Cork.
The accident happened at around 10am today when the woman was hit by a truck as she was out horseriding on the R666 road to Fermoy.
She was rushed to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries and is said to be in a critical condition.
The driver of the truck is also being treated in hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road has been closed for examinations and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene.
