Labour TD sacked as Assistant Party Whip

Labour TD Tommy Broughan has been sacked from his position as Assistant Party Whip.

Labour said it took the decision because Deputy Broughan defied the party whip and abstained from a Dáil vote on the Criminal Justice Amendment Bill last week.
