Police in the North have made another arrest today in connection with the murder of Kevin McDaid in Coleraine on May 24th.

Police in the North have made another arrest today in connection with the murder of Kevin McDaid in Coleraine on May 24th.

The 35-year-old man was arrested in the Co Derry town this morning.

He is being questioned about the fatal attack on Mr McDaid in the Heights area of the town following Rangers' victory in the Scottish Premier League title race.

The 49-year-old community worker was beaten to death by a loyalist mob, while a 46-year-old man, Damien Fleming, was also seriously injured in the attack.
