Irishman killed in New York

Arrangements are being made to repatriate the body of an Irishman who died in the United States.

Brian Forde, who was in his early 20s and from Athenry in Co Galway, was killed in a workplace accident in New York.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that it is providing consular assistance to the man's family.
