2,000 sign petition to keep 'holy' tree stump

Nearly 2,000 people have now signed a petition to prevent a tree stump which apparently looks like the Virgin Mary from being removed from a church in Co Limerick.

Workmen made the discovery earlier this week after cutting down trees at Holy Mary Parish Church in Rathkeale.
