Catholic churches targeted in Ballymena attacks

Three Catholic churches in the Ballymena area of Co Antrim were damaged in sectarian attacks in the early hours of this morning.

Three Catholic churches in the Ballymena area of Co Antrim were damaged in sectarian attacks in the early hours of this morning.

Bottles containing paint were thrown at two of the churches on Crebilly Road and Larne Road.

Damage was also caused to a third church and headstones on the Portglenone Road.
