Man charged with homeless murder

A 46-year-old man was tonight charged with murdering a homeless man found stabbed to death on a street in Belfast.

George Morrison, 29, was discovered lying in Brookhill Avenue in the north of the city in the early hours of Monday.

The suspect will appear at Belfast’s Laganside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning when prosecutors will review the case.
